The Blurb

A built-in version of the classic Pegasus Page that happens in your spectator’s hands from beginning to end!

With the book in her hands, she remembers the page number she stopped at and thinks of a word on the page before closing the book.

After sharing a fun little time travel theory, your spectator opens the book to the same page only to find it’s been ripped out and sealed in an envelope that you gave to her before you even handed her the book!

And not only does the page match perfectly from where it was torn, but the word she was only thinking of is circled.

Includes the original method featured in all of the Zandman Book Test titles: Instantly know the word someone is thinking of without ever even seeing their word!

– Nothing to memorize
– No questions asked
– Nothing is written down
– Completely examinable

Also, this amazing effect works with the following Zandman Book Test titles: Gatsby, Sherlock, Scarlet, and Christmas Carol (does not work with Alice). No matter where your spectator stops you as you riffle through the pages of Time Machine, you will know the first word on the same page number in any of these 4 other titles!

Jheff's Guide

WHAT IT IS:
Effect with Props

HOW ACCURATE OR COMPLETE THE BLURB IS:
I wouldn’t agree with the “Completely examinable” statement. The book can certainly be handled briefly by the participant, but one must use very careful participant management if you do.

SET-UP AND RE-SET:
The set-up involves simply replacing the missing page back to where it goes (envelope, wallet, etc.).

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED THAT YOU NEED OR NEED TO KNOW:
The book does not ready to go. You must tear out a page and you must be careful doing so. I would advise not doing that unless you’ve already familiarized yourself with the instructions or you’re already experienced with the effect.

SUITABLE VENUES:
Close-up, Parlour, Stage, Walkaround, Internet

JHEFF’S JUDGMENT:
This is another in the series of Josh Zandman’s book test series and it’s one of the best. This highly recommended effect is a very clever combination of Zandman’s unique version of a Larry Becker principal and the Pegasus Page that can pack flat, play big.
