The Blurb

ANY WORD ON ANY PAGE
Introducing the first self-working, any word on any page book test!

Here’s EXACTLY what happens with nothing left out:

You hand your spectator the book and ask her to open to any page and choose a word, but make it challenging like a longer word and something she can draw in her mind.

At the very moment she chooses a word, you instantly know what it is!

She hands the book back to you and you can reveal the word or do a drawing duplication.

  • No questions asked
  • No guessing or misses
  • No phishing for any letters
  • Perform anytime with no prior memorization

STRATEGICALLY INTERTWINED WITH THESE AMAZING EFFECTS:

Super Flashback
Instantly know the first word on any page without ever seeing the word! Nothing to memorize, no guessing or misses.

Tossed Out Book
The classic Tossed Out Deck, but with a book. Toss out Something Wicked into your audience and instantly reveal the freely chosen words from five spectators!

Reverse Book Test
A spectator stops you on ANY page in ANY book and you will know a word on the same page in Something Wicked!

Pegasus Page
A built-in version of the classic Pegasus Page that happens in your spectator’s hands from beginning to end!

Jheff's Guide

WHAT IT IS:
A specially printed version of a classic Ray Bradbury book.

HOW ACCURATE OR COMPLETE THE AD COPY IS:
The ad copy claims this is “the first self-working, any word on any page book test.” That’s not quite accurate. In talking with Josh, what is meant by this phrase is that once a word is chosen, you know the word. It is more direct than most books with an any-word-on-any-page feature. It is definitely more direct than Mother of All Book Tests and 451.

SET-UP AND RE-SET:
None, although is a slight reset if you’re performing the Pegasus page routine.

ANGLES:
None

SUITABLE VENUES:
Close-up, Parlor, Stage, Walkaround, Internet

JHEFF’S JUDGMENT:
Once again, Josh Zandman has created a book test that is worthy of being one of the best available. When 451 was released, I proclaimed it to be a solid rival to The Mother of All Book Tests for the best book available. I can’t say right now whether this is better, but it is certainly more direct and as equally strong as 451. It definitely belongs in the same category as one of the very best book tests available.
