JHEFF’S JUDGMENT:
Though this book seems to be about magic, don’t dismiss it for the title. The authors consider mentalism as a type of magic and six of the nine chapters in this book are ones that mentalists would find quite illuminating. It’s too early to say if this book will become essential to the working mentalist or whether it’s the best of the year, but clearly it is a fascinating and insightful book for all mystery performers that provides much food for thought and, undoubtedly, one of the most enjoyable reads of the year.
