My Comments
So what can a mentalist do with a rainbow deck that has
marked backs? I really don't know right now. And the
accompanying DVD does not provide much help as all of the
routines are squarely magic: color-changing routine, Chicago
opener, four aces, etc. The deck comes with many other cards
as well, such as a 52-on-1 card, but most of the rest of
these cards are for magic effects.
However, the very thought of such a product intriques me. I
know that there are mentalism routines that are possible
with this. In any case, the deck is certainly well-made.
The marks are easy to read and comparable to the ones found
on the GT Speedreader Marked Deck. Some of the card backs
match the Phoenix Deck and you may want to get a deck or two
of those. The package comes with one PRISM deck, which
includes those extra cards, and an instructional DVD. This
is definitely something for the creative mentalist who
doesn't mind using playing cards and who likes creating some
new and wonderful routines.
