The Blurb

The most meaningful and CLEAN out of this world to date!

Some random words are written on the faces of some red and blue slips of paper. You attempt an experiment with the written words and the colored papers.

You ask your spectators, to choose between words. Words that describe the things people may want in life like money, happiness etc.

They make all the choices of which words they get. At the end it is shown that they only got the words that they were meant to get all along. The words are turned over to reveal that they have been cleanly separated into the red cards and the blue cards.

NO MOVES, NO SWITCHING PILES, THEY PICK WHICH WORD GOES TO WHICH PILE AND YOU END COMPLETELY CLEAN WITH EXAMINABLE PAPER. A NEVER BEFORE SEEN DIABOLICAL METHOD.

Takes two minutes to prepare at home.

WHAT IT IS:
Instantly viewable/downloadable video

HOW ACCURATE OR COMPLETE THE BLURB IS:
It doesn’t mention that this is a version of Paul Curry’s “Out of This World,” but I think that should be obvious to most knowledgeable performers.

SET-UP AND RE-SET:
You need to be able to print color pages to make the red and blue backed papers. It’s probably preferable to use cardstock or even photo paper, but regular paper will do, too. If you prepare quite a bit of them in advance, then the re-set merely involves re-stocking the papers. Otherwise, it will take just a little more time than two minutes to print and cut the papers, but it’s not that time consuming.

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED THAT YOU NEED OR NEED TO KNOW:
As mentioned above, you will need to have access to a color printer. Even though it’s set up for red and blue, you can modify this to be any two colors you want.

SUITABLE VENUES:
Close-up, Internet

JHEFF’S JUDGMENT:
The basic premise of Paul Curry’s Out of this World, in which the participant successfully sorts unseen colors or images, is the same here, but the method opens this up to being incredibly versatile and customizable and it beautifully eliminates its original pitfalls. There’s no question that this is one of the very best versions of Paul Curry’s “Out of This World” and so, natch, it’s highly recommended.
