WHAT IT IS:

HOW ACCURATE OR COMPLETE THE AD COPY IS:
The ad copy doesn’t mention what this is at all. It’s essentially a dry-erasable name badge and a memo pad. The performer writes down something on the badge and sets it aside. Then a thought is selected by the participant and it is written down on the memo pad. That thought can be anything – words, drawings, numbers, etc. Then the performer reveals what’s written on the name badge and, natch, it’s whatever the participant(s) thought of.
SET-UP AND RE-SET:
Joel shows you how to re-set this immediately after the performance. It takes about a minute and mostly involves wiping the dry-erase writing on the name badge.

JHEFF’S JUDGMENT:
Joel Dickinson has come up with another very clever, easy-to-use set of gimmicks that can be used to predict anything, very similar to the classic Confabulation. Though Joel’s presentation does not address the reason why thoughts need to be written down on a memo pad, this is a presentational issue with many Confabulation type routines that some performers have found solutions for and some have not cared about. Either way, this is a solid package from Joel Dickinson and definitely worth checking out if you’re interested.
