The Blurb
Five spectators are asked come up on stage and each of them takes an envelope at random.
After a introduction about the possibility of being able to influence the choices and behavior of human beings, the mentalist asks the spectators on stage to position themselves in a seemingly random order.
The audience, however, once the envelopes are opened, discover five colored cards in a sequence that appears to be identical to the one drawn on a large poster on stage from the beginning of the experiment.
A real “grand illusion” of mentalism from scenic impact.

WHAT IT IS:
DVD
HOW ACCURATE OR COMPLETE THE BLURB IS:
Though it understandably doesn’t detail the routine, which is part of the methodology, the summary is as accurate and complete as it should be.
WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED THAT YOU NEED OR NEED TO KNOW:
Max does explain a very effective version that doesn’t need to use the gimmick and it’s one that I actually prefer. However, the gimmicked mentioned will take a bit of time to create. It uses mailing tubes, spray, tape and other items which are easily available. Once created, it should last a long while. You also must arrange to have the prediction banners printed and, again, once printed they should last quite awhile. Also, there is a bit of one-time preparation involved in the other materials which are needed for this to work.
SUITABLE VENUES:
Parlour, Stage
JHEFF’S JUDGMENT:
This is a clever and enchanting routine that has all the flavor of a chair test and that overcomes many of the flaws of most chair tests, which is even more remarkable considering this routine features no chairs at all! If you’re looking for a fun and powerful stage routine that involves many participants, this is certainly a gem worth looking into.
