Jheff's Guide
WHAT IT IS:
An effect involving an acrylic picture frame with a photo of a pocket watch, plus accessories.
HOW ACCURATE OR COMPLETE THE AD COPY IS:
It’s accurate enough.
WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED THAT YOU NEED OR NEED TO KNOW:
It is easy to do, but a little knacky. You will definitely have to practice this in order to use it smoothly.
SETUP AND RESET:
The setup involves placing one very important, very small component back into place, which takes seconds, though it should be done out of view of the audience. Also, you may find that adding a piece of double-sided tape to this small component will help with its use and help prevent its loss.
ANGLES:
This cannot be done surrounded.
SUITABLE VENUES:
Close-up, Parlor, Walkaround, Internet
JHEFF’S JUDGMENT:
This updated edition finally solves the longstanding limitation of Frozen In Time by allowing you to predict not just the hour but the minutes as well, making it easily the best of the non‑electronic versions. The methodology is essentially the same as previous Swedish Touch editions, though now you control two points on the frame, and the handling remains a little knacky until you get the feel for it. The only significant consideration is that the framed photo must remain inside a window envelope throughout the routine, which some may feel is the “price” of gaining minute‑level precision. Still, for those who value a clean, elegant time prediction, this is an exceptional and much‑improved release.
