The Blurb

You choose what they see!

Forced Focus gives you the ability to force one or several cards in a very clean and fair way, without the participants touching the cards.

The ingenious principle means the spectators cannot see any values other than the cards being forced, yet gives the impression a complete deck of cards is being shown.

This clever idea creates new possibilities for classic plots such as Tossed Out Deck and Multiple Card Revelations and opens them up to the virtual world.

It is ideal for virtual shows but also in a live environment.

“I really like it. If you want to do a mind reading routine online with a deck of cards this is the way to go.”
– Luca Volpe

“Forced Focus is fantastic. What Richard has created is not just a trick, it is a fully fledged utility prop.”
– Katherine Rhodes

“The possibilities are endless. I got really excited when I first saw Forced Focus. I can’t wait to get my hands on one.”
– Marc Oberon

Jheff's Guide

WHAT IT IS:
Effect with Props
HOW ACCURATE OR COMPLETE THE BLURB IS:
It does not mention the deck of cards is not Bicycle stock, though that may only matter to some.  Also, it does come with extra cards to use for the revelation.  Also, it is not ready to be performed right out of the box.  You must watch the instructional video and set up the deck, which should only take a few minutes.
SET-UP AND RE-SET:
Once initially set up for the routine you wish to perform, there is is no re-set.
SUITABLE VENUES:
Close-up, Parlour, Stage, Walkaround, Internet
JHEFF’S JUDGMENT:
Many years ago, Charles Reynolds came up with a novel force deck entitled “Force of Thought” in which a deck of cards is riffled and the participant remembers one card that is seen, which the performer reveals.  This is a more versatile version of that classic and if you are looking for a tool that enables you to do hands-free pick-a-card effects, this uniquely designed deck is certainly something to invest in.
