The Blurb
The mentalist asks any two spectators to select two words at random from any type of dictionary.
The first spectator is asked to write down three possible words only related to the their chosen word, not the actual word. Instead, the second spectator is asked to write down five random words, one of which is their thought of word.
After a moment of concentration, the mentalist discovers which one of the five words was chosen by the second spectator. He then returns to the first spectator, in which he needs to identify the thought of word which was listed by using only word association. Even though the spectator had the possibility to choose any word amongst thousands of possibilities presented in the dictionary, the mentalist is able to correctly guess the word.

JHEFF’S JUDGMENT:
This is a two-phase routine which uses the dictionary of your choice (there is one-time, very easy preparation to it). I really liked the ideas here as I’d not seem them before and, having performed this and finding it got a good reaction, I can certainly recommend this.
