Jheff's Guide

WHAT IT IS:
Effect with Props

HOW ACCURATE OR COMPLETE THE BLURB IS:
The routine is not explained.  It involves selecting a saint on one page, then finding it on two more and, each time, telling the performer which section of the two-page spread the saint can be found in.  The performer can reveal the saint afterwards.

SUITABLE VENUES:
Close-up, Parlour

JHEFF’S JUDGMENT:
This highly unique piece is not for everyone, and I’m not sure it really will fit into anyone’s regular professional performing act, but this 17th century fascimile of a book with a self-working, built-in trick is kind of cool.  If you are into historical effects, both magic and mental, this is something that you will be quite pleased to check out.
