Beneath the Transparency, the Prophecy Comes True
Billet Knife is a classic, mysterious prop. Together with Gonzalo Albiñana & Crazy Jokers, Cristal gives this legendary tool a fresh form.
To perform, take out the fully transparent letter opener and an ordinary envelope. In full view, cut open the envelope and pour out a folded prediction slip. When the audience opens it themselves, it reveals the choice they just made, or the event that has just happened.
The handling is natural, with no suspicious switches or cover-ups. The prediction appears in an exceptionally clean visual.
Made from high-transparency photosensitive resin, Cristal looks like a pool of pure water under light. Simply open the envelope as you normally would while secretly completing the load.
Cristal loads not only small slips, but also a folded A4-sized prediction paper, creating a powerful visual for large theater or commercial performances.
Cristal is more than a letter opener; it is a powerful concealed loading system. Beyond envelopes, you can also use it to cut fruit, pop balloons, or open packages, fitting naturally into performances and everyday situations.
In the accompanying tutorial, creator Gonzalo Albiñana provides a detailed, in-depth analysis of the creative inspiration, delicate handling techniques, routine expansions, and practical applications. Everything is included to help you quickly master this prediction tool for both close-up and stage performances. The set includes:
- 1 × Cristal letter opener
- 1 × Accessory Pack

JHEFF’S JUDGMENT:
This is a brand-new billet knife design that lets the performer easily load predictions into envelopes and works as advertised. However, the main consideration is that it is a letter opener, and letter openers have become outdated and very few people use one, let alone know what one is. Although it is clear, it still does not look like a knife you would carry in your pocket or use in your kitchen, which makes it look like a magic prop. If you are looking for an unusual billet knife that works as advertised, I’d recommend checking it out.
