The Blurb
Collard 2 is a full five-minute comedy routine where you bring out a cuddly toy dog and tell the audience that it needs a name. The audience works together to create a random name (which really is a free choice). A spectator then takes a look at the dog’s name tag on its collar… Amazingly, it has the freely selected name written on it!
Collard 2 offers an improved method, built in collaboration with Levent to produce a routine so strong that you’d be barking mad not to perform it.
All gimmicks included. Instructional download.
Note: Stuffed animal not supplied.

WHAT IT IS:
Effect with Props
HOW ACCURATE OR COMPLETE THE BLURB IS:
It’s basically accurate, though it could go into a little more detail as to what is included. In brief, except for the stuffed animal and collar, you get everything else necessary to do a few dozen performances. Replacements are easy to get online or at local major office supply stores.
SET-UP AND RE-SET:
It is possible to re-set the effect once in front of an audience, but most often you’ll need just a couple of minutes in private to re-set the dog tag and arrange the notepad.
WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED THAT YOU NEED OR NEED TO KNOW:
You’ll need to obtain a stuffed animal and probably a collar, too. There are other accessories which John Archer describes that you may want to buy, but aren’t necessary.
SUITABLE VENUES:
Close-up, Parlour, Stage
JHEFF’S JUDGMENT:
This latest release of John Archer’s plush animal version of the classic Koran Medallion effect is a significant improvement over the original release and much more versatile than the original. If you can use a stuffed animal in your act and have it fit your stage persona and style, then this highly recommended effect should be a very powerful routine for you.
