The Blurb

Beautifully simple, yet powerful magic doesn’t happen very often, but it
Ultimately comes down to creating a powerful fusion between the method and effect.
You know a good trick, not when you see one, but when you experience it.

This is the first trick, in a long time, where every magician who’s seen it, instantly wanted it. Honestly, it is one of the simplest and cleanest effects to perform. It’s impossible to back track and easy to do. Subliminal messaging doesn’t work on everyone, but now you have the power.

*Wondering why you instantly have the urge to hit the buy button? Read the first letter of every sentence…

“At first you will like the effect, but then you’ll LOVE the method!”
– Tom Elderfield

Jheff's Guide

WHAT IT IS:
Deck of faux ad design cards with routine(s) included on an instantly viewable/downloadable video

HOW ACCURATE OR COMPLETE THE BLURB IS:
“Nothing to bring in and out of play” is not accurate, in a literal sense. Objects are indeed brought into play, but the bullet point is indicating that there is no additional gimmickry. All you need are the cards and the ordinary objects, which can be where they normally are (pockets, on fingers and wrists, etc.)

SET-UP AND RE-SET:
The cards need to be arranged, but this takes just seconds to do and can be done in front of the participants since the cards are not gimmicked and can be false shuffled afterwards.

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED THAT YOU NEED OR NEED TO KNOW:
The objects that correspond to what’s on the cards should be ones that you will have on, or with, you. Those objects include an I.D. card, wallet, credit card, Sharpie, ring, glasses, keys, cellphone, earbuds, wristwatch, cigarettes, lighter, and money. Of course, some things can be substitued easily. Any type of writing implement can be used to match the Sharpie, for instance. Nine of these items must be used, so if you normally have nine of these items on you then you’re good to go.

SUITABLE VENUES:
Close-up, Walkaround, Internet

JHEFF’S JUDGMENT:
This clever idea, which can be considered as a pocket version of Mental Epic with items one would carry in their pockets or purse, takes the premise of influence in advertising and presents a demonstration of that. This is a handsomely produced, strong close-up mentalism effect that is definitely recommended and, due to this being released during the pandemic, will probably, and unfortunately, be overlooked.
