Jheff's Guide
WHAT IT IS:
An ordinary-looking pencil
HOW ACCURATE OR COMPLETE THE AD COPY IS:
It’s accurate enough, but one should know that the method is exactly the same as many rising-and-falling voodoo doll routines.
WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED THAT YOU NEED OR NEED TO KNOW:
The handling includes a minor physical requirement that won’t suit everyone. Those who prefer not to work with methods involving a sharp, direct skin contact should be aware of this before purchasing.
SETUP AND RESET:
There are no moving parts to this pencil, so there is no setup or reset.
ANGLES:
None
SUITABLE VENUES:
Close-up, Walkaround, Internet
JHEFF’S JUDGMENT:
There is absolutely nothing wrong with this effect or the ad, but there is absolutely nothing original about it, either. The lack of an eraser may or may not look normal, depending on your opinion and your audience. If you’re looking for a version of the rising-and-falling voodoo doll that uses a pencil and the considerations don’t bother you, then this is something you’d want to check out.
