The Blurb
Without touching or looking at a selected card, you can divine the name of the selection even without asking question. This can be done with the Logical Deck.
The secret is the intelligent and subtle markings on the deck. The Logical Deck is a whole new marked deck.
As far as an ordinary marked deck is concerned, you cannot read a mark of a card in the middle of the deck. However, you can do that quickly with the Logical Deck. It does not take so long to read the markings. When you get used to its system, you can read the markings of two cards in a moment.
Even experienced magicians will be fooled unless they know the marking method.
The instruction manual includes two basic handlings and a routine with a trick deck.
We hope you enjoy this simple and straightforward effect, and intelligent principle.
Includes gimmicked Blue Bicycle Deck.
“When I saw this effect for the first time, I could not help shouting “No way!” I was totally fooled although he had told me that the secret was a variation of my idea. The Logical Deck employs a mathmatical principle. But the deck can be shuffled even by a spectator. Of course, you need to glimpse the deck. However, you can do that in a moment in a natural movement. I am amazed that he came up with this idea. He is truly talented.”

“When I was a magic dealer, I came across a Masuda’s trick. The secret of the trick was new and exciting. I tried to invent more powerful effect with his idea and finally completed the Logical Deck. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Katsuya Masuda who highly appreciated my work and made efforts to commercialize the Logical Deck.”

My Comments
This is no doubt an ingeniously marked deck. One can certainly read one or more cards that have been selected while in the middle of the deck. The single folded page of instructions, that also includes routining, is all one needs. It's that simple to do.
The consideration is that the way the card is chosen limits its use. It doesn't work like regular marked decks. Cards cannot be freely taken from the deck. There is a very specific procedure to the selection. The card must be turned over, like a book, in the middle of the deck. I can't explain why without completely tipping the principle.
Also, the selection of the card needs to be made when the performer has his or her back turned to the participant, or when the performer steps out of the room. Again, there's nothing particularly wrong with that, as the instructions emphasize that the performer needs to demonstrate what needs to be done before turning around, but it just may not suit one's style.
Finally, one may wonder if the marks can easily be seen. Without tipping too much, I will say that the marks consist of lines of various lengths and colors. The marks are glimpsed as the cards are cased, so one's handling can certainly make certain the cards are within one's eyesight. But this could be a problem for those whose eyesight is not average.
Still, it does what it promises and I completely fooled the family and a few students so far with this, for what that's worth. The cards are Bicycle stock and it is available in both red and blue (just let me know when ordering from me, otherwise I'll just give you whatever color I grab). I do think the idea behind is very clever, and if one can use this, it will be incredibly effective.
