The Blurb

Neither Blind Nor Stupid is easy to do and a real fooler for magicians and laypeople alike! From an almost lost mentalism principle in Anneman, this routine is a masterful and thoughtful lesson in magical structure that takes a self-working effect and turns it into a masterpiece of showmanship!

Juan Tamariz has put together a marvelous way to find two spectators’ cards, and draws it out in many steps that is both mystifying and entertaining. The cards are continually mixed by the spectators, yet the magician is able to identify both selected cards.

You will enjoy performing this!

WHAT IT IS:
Instantly viewable/downloadable video

HOW ACCURATE OR COMPLETE THE BLURB IS:
The blurb doesn’t really tell you what the effect is.  Basically, two participants choose cards and the performer then has the participants eliminate all the obvious bits of knowledge the performer could know about the cards leaving the deck in a challenging, impossible position to find the cards.  The performer never touches the cards during all of this.  Of course, the performer then takes just a few seconds to look through the deck and correctly remove the two thought-of cards.

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED THAT YOU NEED OR NEED TO KNOW:
This is an excerpt from a previously released Juan Tamariz video.

SUITABLE VENUES:
Close-up, Parlour

JHEFF’S JUDGMENT:
One of my favorite card effects to perform, this is powerful, hands off, and easy to do.  It uses an ordinary deck and there are no sleights. If you are not familiar with this effect, don’t plan on buying the multi-disc Tamariz sets (which include this effect), and you do perform some playing card effects, at least, then the price is low enough for you to get this and add this to your impromptu card miracles arsenal.
